If fear keeps us from sharing and supporting other artists, than we might as well simply toss our brushes and pens in the fire. :) Art is not only the angst and struggle of the individual, it is also the soul of the community and the exhaultation of the Village.

Wonders of the Season
It is my sincere wish, for each and everyone of you, that you may find in this season of journeys and renewal, of sun return and religious celebrations, a healing, a renewal of spirit and inspiration, but most of all, a touch of the warmth of love. In all things, we are emotional creatures, and even the most self sufficient and separate of us has feelings. Buried though they often are, in the illusions of what man has done to the world, but in the end, man is only a passing moment in the life of the earth, and a bit of noise in the ear of the universe. It is only our own relationships and support and sharing with each other that makes us more than we are.
Never have we been better than any other creature, and generally much worse. May we use the one gift we do have, that of mind, to extend and understand our hearts that we may find our place in the realms and begin to bring healing instead of destruction, joy and beauty instead of concrete and death.

Just to make it official, :) I hereby coin the phrase "Scarlet Tartlet" to describe a style of art where the model is presented in a style that is reminiscent of the victorian brothal paintings and photography and the old wild west saloon and bar art. Very lush, rather nude / semi nude, but with a lot of richness in sets and or costumes and generally voluptuous models.
I place here in a copy of the original posting on Deviant art in which I coin the phrase.

excellent use of the Retro genre. There is little to tell that this is not a turn of the century "Scarlet Tartlet"
very nice work.

The dance of our journeys is fixed only in the stage itself, not the interpretation of our choreography. Nor the music we chose to create with our souls and our dance. Only in the expression of the living soul, may the reflection of the divine be seen. © 2004 Marion Z. Skydancer

Savory Banana Bread
Food processor - I happen to use about a 2 quart one.
6 - 8 really ripe banana's. This should be processed till you have a smooth mush. It ends up making about 1qt of puree.
To this I add two or three tablespoons of cinnamon.
A good dash of salt, a good tablespoon of baking soda, and two tablespoons of the Magic ingredient.
Magic vegetable seaoning. It is made by the Chef Paul Prudhomme's company so if you cannot find that, you might need to try another brand of seasoning mix.
Add three large eggs. Pulse a few times to get it mixed.
Add flour, either general purpose, bread, or I have had good success with spelt until it starts to get thick, generally it ends up about 1/4 of the way from the top. Then add buttermilk to bring it up to just the top of the bowl, letting the processor run as you add the milk and immediately turn it off as it hits the top. DO NOT OVERFILL. At that point, just pour the batter into a prepared pan, you can use a little cooking spray or butter or shortening. I use a large rectangular pan, and it takes just 40 mins at 325 to be just done through. Preheat the oven of course. Now I have been using a metal pan, so a glass dish might be slightly longer. Just use the usual toothpick or clean knife test.

Christmas in a package?
It is the journey of each day, the way we treat and respect and think of our friends and relations, even the stranger on the street, that is the gift of our spirits, be it kind and loving or angry and defensive. The moment of a package, no matter how it may sparkle, or how many units of status it may hold, is nothing but an illusion, against the life we live and share, and the gifts we bring to the world.
May your Solstice be blessed, and your Yule warm and filled with love and relations that respect and adore you.
