Not bad.. not bad at all. Gooey peant butter filling in the middle surrounded by chocolate cake.. I think it works best if you flip it out onto a plate and let it cool.. and next time I think a little flour in the filling might be in order to help firm it up.. but you want to talk about decadent... this.. is it.. yum.....

Ok.. so it took 45 min.. and is very jiggly in the center but that is the peanut butter ..... now to let it cool and see what happens.. smells good though..
I feel like an experiment... so... hmmmm
One chocolate cake mix.. make according to directions.
One oiled and floured cast iron Skillet.
Oven set to 350 F.
Mix one cup peanutbutter and one cup Riccota cheese
with one third cup sugar, beat until smooth.
pour batter in skillet, then put peanutbutter mixture into center of batter like a giant reeces cup....
Bake about 35 - 40 min, check with a toothpick or knife till it just comes out clean in the cake.. certainly the peanutbutter will be sticky.. chuckle...
Let cool. See what happens...
that is what I am doing...

Skydancer Maple Squash Biscuits -
3 cups self rising flour
1/3 cup solid shorting - butter / lard
1/2 cup approx. fresh roast squash - about one medium buttercup squash.
1/3 cup maple syrup
Cream, half & half or milk to make one cup total
throughly mix cooled squash with maple syrup, add cream and mix throughly.
Cut shortning into flour to make biscuit crumb. Add liguid and mix with fork until
it just comes together as a dough. Turn out on to a floured surface and work
very gently into a ball. Knead only a little so as to not toughen the biscuits.
Roll out to about 3/4 inch thick. Cut with knife or pizza cutter into even squares to make about 18 biscuits.
bake at 450 degrees for about 12 - 15 until golden brown on top.
Makes a very flaky, moist biscuit / scone.

Love the art - Art the love, express your soul through your art. (C) Marion Z. Skydancer 2003
Monday is the solstice - Dec. 22 at 07:04 Universal time. That makes it 2:04 AM Eastern Standard Time which is minus 5 hours Greenwich Time. So the night of the 21st, burn your Yule log, or your Sun candle, or however you celebrate the longest night and the returning birth of the Sun King and the coming of the Yule King. And may you find a new warmth in your soul, in your heart, in your relationships and in your life.
My blessings and wish for peace, for joy, and for growth in all our journeys.

New mown dance.
Trimming the lawn, the wild weed spaces,
I found a fairy castle, still amongst the trees.
Pan thrusting forth from the moss, fungi god in the forest litter.
Older, spanning spaces, great umbrella caps shelter fey princes,
Mushroom thrones brief in their glory.
Three spirals did I cut, One for the Mother, One for the God,
One for the child that dwells within.
Three spirals, widdershins, two turning out, and one turning in.
Two to raise the power of the Twain, one to close the circle back again.
Dance upon the new mown lawn, fairy, firefly, child and ghost.
Memories of summer, not yet made, berrie pie and fairy bells,
Flutterby colors riding the breeze, crickets tuning the nights revels.
Three spirals in the lawn, One for the Mother, One for the God,
One for the Child that dwells within.
Three spirals, widdershins, two turning out, and one turning in.
Two to raise the power of the Twain, one to close the circle back again.
Shadows creeping from deeping shade, the new mown lawn exhales,
Wafting new smells of grass and leaf. Firefly lights gather, fairy wings are softly heard.
Drink the heavy fragrance night settles, and release the souls to dance,
Three spirals woven, One for the Mother, One for the God,
One for the Child that dwells within.
Three spirals, widdershins, two turning out, and one turning in.
Two to raise the power of the Twain, one to close the circle back again.

Sun Star Gleamings:
Shadows dappling amongst the wise and sacred oaks,
Sequoia woven in turning twisting shafts of golden light,
Melodic avian tapestries flickering under sun polished skies,
Verdant cloak over Mother’s land drinking sun’s blood gold,
Mountain peaks gleaming rays amongst the clouds,
Daystar rays polishing the copper shields of oceans curve,
Sunflowers dance to the choreography of the sun,
Sugarcanes sip the sunshine into sweetened stores,
Winds dance thermal convections under daystar’s radiant direction,
Desert sands reflect a multitude of splintered sunray shards,
Ochre canyons abrim with golden wavelets flowing warm across the stone,
Sun driven arrows crackling leaf and stem,
Mesa’s chipping shadowed chunks from sheeting sun gold flow,
Sunfire melting alkali landscape to a molten shimmer,
Airs dancing in seductive ripples above the sun blasted desert floor,
Sun shards sparkling on a wind rippled lake,
Rainbows form from shattered sunlight caressing the rushing falls,
Rays caressing iridescent sheens from unicorns sun tossed manes,
Medicine Wheel laid by hands in past harmony,
Sacred places prepared in ancient times to serve this day,
Powers sleeping in the serene mantle of the Mother,
Awaiting the clarions calling to the service of the Earth,
Teachers and guardians returning in spirit and in flesh,
Beings of Light and Darkness answer the planetary deities calls,
Preparing changes in the matrix,
Nodes and nexus of realities shift and flow,
Chaotic fluxes feed new possibilities into the mix,
Multiverse realigns to new patterns,
Boundaries, walls, foundations,
Over all the Sea of Chaos new mazes to explore.
A shifting twisting image of distant realms and time, therein a dream of mirrors darkly, reflecting alternative realities, maze of shifting powers swirl around the core, yet in the confused and frightening center of such dissonance, the glow of the Goddess in calm serenity, gives us power and protection to find ourselves, our way.

Vision Songs:
Azure crystals growing in an aquamarine sea,
Amethyst wines captured in sparkling spiky quartz,
Agate wind chimes resonating stillness,
Crystalline waters crackling at the Frost King’s touch,
Feathery weavings drifting from the ice looms of the air,
A billion billion footsteps of insects walking across the land,
Murmur of a butterfly gentle in my hand,
Softly sighing glow of an overflowing heart,
Swiftly flowing shifty clay upon the potter’s wheel,
Strong and deep the beat of the Mother’s sacred drum in my breast,
Golden sun spears striking daisies awake,
Star sparks igniting Pan’s tinder to flames in young nights,
Crystal chalice singing with Bacchanalian blessings of the vine,
Multiple hearts beating within the mother, daughter of the Mother, singing life,
Apples crisping amongst the titter of the leaves,
Cherries pitting themselves along the summer’s span,
Pears upon an aged tree comparing luscious flesh,
Ancient sands sift quietly in pyramidal lands,
Grasses weave and hold the land in webs of living cloth,
Wool curls and twines a lovely winter coat,
Ivy casts its questing fingers on sculpted limestone flanks,
Brooks store their wealth in luxurious banks of moss,
Secretive sapphires slipping slyly through the sands of the swiftly swirling river,
Busily buzzing bees wasping amongst the orchards trees,
Sparkling bloods fire ruby rippling in the navel of desire,
Secret gardens growing guarded in glittering emerald depths,
Turquoise storing blue skies in underground vaults and veins,

Savory Squash Biscuits (C) MZS hehe..
2 cups self rising flour, or regular flour with baking powder, soda, and salt.
2 cups chilled freshly roasted, baked, boiled or microwaved squash flesh. I happened to use a baked turban in this recipe, but any squash will work. The thing is, make certain the squash is well seasoned when cooked, buttered, or a bit of olive oil, spices, salt, pepper.
1/3 cup cold milk
1/4 cup lard or shortening.
Cut in shortening with pastry cutter or a pair of forks to make a crumbly mixture and well coat the shorting with the flour. Fold in the squash, cutting it in untill well incorporated. Add milk and mix with a fork until the dough pulls from the bowl and form into a ball. Turn out onto a WELL floured surface.. you will probably have to work another 1/4 cup of flour into the dough, depending on the wetness of the squash. Knead and fold a few times and roll out into a disk about 1/2 inch thick and cut your biscuits with a round cutter or a condensed milk can works very nicely. Put on a lightly oiled or sprayed baking sheet and bake in a pre heated oven at 500 degrees for 10 - 12 mins until browned.
Excellent for use with soups, salzas and other savory or hearty dishes.

Santa in Hawaï
I was on holidays
Faraway from the snow
Even Santa these days
Is allowed to do so
And what a better land
For having a nice rest
Than Hawai and its sand
Where the sun is the best
I am on holidays
But the work is not gone
'Cause work there is always
And it has to be done
So quill in hand I look
People who have a vice
And I tick in the book
Who's been naughty or nice!

As an old and wise dragon once said... As the Weave desires, so shall the threads be spun, as the threads are spun so flow our lives, as flow our lives is the patterns of the tapestry enriched and the robe of the Mother becomes the beauty of Spirit realized.
It is decided.. we have to be actualize it.. :)
My.. what a journey beckons, I feel quite like Bilbo standing at the door, about to step up the road that goes ever onward...
Now my art will begin to reflect the journey to come, and the visions from between the worlds..
Confused yet? Don't be, simply a new journey has opened to me, and Spirit choosing, it will mean a realization of a dream of many lifetimes... and an answer by Spirit to my situation, and my past journey. Much much more to come yet.. it has only begun..
